So G - are running for PM?

It has always seemed odd to me that the PM can be challenged before the end of his (her) term and potentially ousted. Here in the US we do it right - it takes a blow job for that to happen.

the whole thing sucks.
our PM lost her gig, because of the very guy that the whole party is falling to bits.
it's all boy's club.
she didn't stand a chance solely because she was a woman.
this is just the beginning of the end.

They are all a bunch of baboons and will screw us either way no matter WHO gets in. I find it quite boring really, I did read the article about rudd challenging the current pm, good for a "days of our lives" scene where he gets the bitch back. That's about all that's in it really <chuckles>. Good morning by the way, give me coffee and no one gets hurt, a 5 meter radius is all you need to keep safe at this point in time <grumble grumble>.
 
we had a good PM in Gillard, it's just her party wouldn't support her coz they couldn't handle being told anything by a woman. that's it!
it's all too sexist for my liking.
i follow politics and have a pretty good idea wot they get up to, and all i can say, all the good ones get chucked out early, coz their principles and policies don't suit the power mongers, oops, i meant brokers.
if the rest all stop trying to be celebrities and pop stars with anything but there own self preservation on their agenda, then maybe the political situation may change for the better, but as long as the public allow this filth to hide behind Parliamentary Privilege and keep lining their pockets with self interest it just ain't gonna happen.
the public are just too stupid to see it, let alone too freakin' lazy to do anything about it, and so it goes own.
it's the same everywhere else on the planet, so it'll never change.
i still think it really sucks BIG TIME what happened to Gillard.
 
Politics are all too complicated for me, don't have the time for them. There are so many factors involved there.

How is the day looking so far George? Rest a bit better?

I got through the day ok, have to transfer some vinyl for a friend onto PC, he has a few requests from my collection, I also preserve his vinyl that he lends me in return for the favor, works out well for both of us. Most of his vinyl is Near mint to Mint. I don't know anyone else who would lend their vinyl, such a precious format that requires utmost care when handling. Think he likes the sound the Thorens/SME 3009 puts out.

Not much else to tell apart from the fact that its cold and raining, my type of weather, man cave zone :toothy10:
 
well today's my lucky day.
just found a nice sturdy bit of ply (8x2) complete with a reinforced edge down in the hard waste area.
perfect for that extra storage shelf, and exactly the dimensions i've been looking for. amazing!
(i guess i'm getting my reward for helping that little old lady across the street the other day. hey, i know, she didn't want to go, but i figured she would've eventually.)

Good on you, I have noticed these nice deeds come back as nice rewards, sometimes in the most strange way too. I need a coffee, feel dead inside at the moment, a bit crappy to be honest, must be the medication reduction because all of a sudden have lost the motivation to do ANYTHING.
 
..... I didn't really help an old lady across the road. I just made that up. But I would have if there ever was one!

I'm still busting up - I'm thinking the same thing. Everyone needs to be on the other side at one time or another.

So the plywood dimension is in mm - cm or m or???

Just been playing with my new toy tonight, fine tuning it, breaking it back in after being idle for so long. (sounds like a woman hey?).

it's taken a lot longer than usual having had a double one in a row.
i feel so useless, right now but hopefully tomorrow i'll be a little more active.
i desperately need to get some cat food back into the cupboard. supplies are running low so i just have to try to get some shopping done.
must try to get another pair of speakers back into the bedroom too. i've been without music for days now, and i think i'm starting to miss not having some tunes playing in the background.
i do happen to have a netbook (but it only gives me access to my TV shows and movies on my server), which is now hooked up to an external monitor in the bedroom, so at least there's been a good selection of stuff to watch and fall asleep to.
... but my butt starts to hurt when I lie around too much, so i'm looking forward to being up and about soon. ;)

I hear you and can relate to being in bed all the time due to withdrawal related issues (which is what I had), drives you insane and I know you like to do stuff. Would give you a hand if I was nearby. Hang in there mate.
