I havn't let loose my Pie 'n' Ear amp for a while, time for some Shpongle I think.

If you really want to get your groove on, George, try one of these:

Nando.

Actually, it's not as large a sub-woofer as you think. I'm a lot smaller in real life.

Nando.

George is on the warpath to create a Sonic boom, and rattle the pests out of the building.

I have been soooooooooo looking for this…...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lxum4L2Rqss

saves me the bother of throwing some loops together.
neighbours should enjoy it heaps.
no need to sing along. there's no words. come to think of it, there's no music either!
tomorrow, i'll just stick it on repeat, and go shopping.

<Evil Grin> Being noisy as usual are they? :evil1:, good drum beats to rattle the cage.

Well there should be no problem with pumping some tunes, should blend in nicely :evil4:

i wish it was so easy.
when they collectively do it, it's just 'normal day to day' noise.
when I do it, it's classed as 'nuisance' noise, and as such comes under the jurisdiction of the EPA.
I can't win.

Yeah its not fair in that sense. They are being absolute animals all the time though. I have to show some restraint in this place too in order not to attract too much attention.

I'm normally the quietest person here, but after 2 1/2 years, I just had to make a point.
Enough is enough.
Of course this will all come back to bite me…. but it was a momentary lapse of reason.
The worst is yet to come, as my fuse is getting shorter and shorter….
I've lost my tolerance, and that worries the hell out of me. :(

I'm thinkin on a new paradigm for an old folks home, old rovk and rollers with no loudness restrictions, a music toom with lockable rack closets. When it's your turn, you open the door to your rack and give it hell for your time, call it........ Concert Acres....or some such nonsense....common interests does not translate to common problems...

BD, what will the 4311's take?

The tech sheet states: 75 Watts Continuos Program, but JBL were always conservative with their ratings, and they are generally recommended to be used with a 150 Watt RMS /ch amp.

It's a worry…...

* Can you incorporate an internal switch that can reduce the supply rails by half? (sort of like a 'beginner's setting"?)
THAT'd be handy…..

I can't help but feel concerned.
It's going to be like going from a lawnmower to a Bulldozer for D2. He has NO IDEA wot he's walking into.
