i'll get that sucker out next day or so and get it boxed and posted to wherever you want it posted to.
fix me up after that. i've over spent my postal budget for the next month, otherwise i wouldn't worry about it.

now i must ask..... (seriously...)
do you mind if it comes in a brown box?
'some' people have an aversion to brown. (ask Lee....)

:laughing9: I don't care if its a pink bit....ahem!...I mean box

I was just thinkin', if the world's round, what did they do with all the corners?

:confused2:

That one has got me.

Going to try a different sound card in my computer. Going from a sound blaster audigy to a X-Fi, scored a couple of them for around $7 a piece. Both X-Fi's have the same specs but the one with the gold connectors is an earlier revision, going to try the later revision.

i found that the different coloured plugs made no difference to a colour (color) blind person.

Settled for the Earlier reivison X-Fi card with the gold connectors, a small improvement in sound depth. The later revision was the tiniest bit down in the right channel and was producing a "click/pop" when powering up the PC and changing modes, a sign of trouble. Cool now I can try recording some vinyl on it at 24-bit.

he's pro'ly out erasing his head! :confused2:

Was turning the record over and calibrating side b of the tape/adjusting recording level since side a and b of vinyl is often different levels. Now dribbling some more alphabet soup without spell check :bounce:

I had a dilemma for 20 minutes, what type of tape to use?, what devices to record to?, should I clean the heads?, is the vinyl in good enough condition? drove me nuts. Might as well go the whole hog and record to ALL of the devices using a high end metal tape. Only need to record 3 more metal tapes and my metal tape case is full (it holds 38). Plenty of Shpongle in there, first one I recorded to was Suzanne Vega - Retrospective.

Great collection that.
I worked with her at Picadilly Theatre in London, on the sound crew.
Amazing sound on stage. it was just hi-fi. outstanding sound guy she had, but the female drummer she had was just jawdropping good. such an amazing feel. i never knew live drums could sound so good on stage (and through the PA of course.)

Shpongle is good. And it does GROW on you.. BD, betcha ghot some stories of the road??
