Yes but it is no longer in circuit, nor any of other drivers or outputs

Q6 2n 3403 To-92HS pinout: is it read from flat side and ignore heatsink BCE ?

Pinouts always read from the flat side---a BIG GENRERALLY---

Q6 will read BCE from the flat side, left to right.

Theres always hope, as ya never run outta smoke....yeah Mike, just a matter of time before we track it down. AND you're learning your way around a 700's guts. Will come in real handy hen ya go to White Oak it.

Absolutely, I even placed the amp on a Lazy Susan.

That's encouraging. I cant remember the last time I`ve done so much component level work, I must admit the learning curve is steep but so far so good.
