True Ron, any dummie can pull up to a crane and have shit set with a crane...takes a man to back up a 16 foot ramp with 120,000lb draworks just outside your back window and stop just before you drive off the end and then push the drawtool off your bed and on to the rig floor.....that's FUCKIN RIG MOVIN.....your basic 10,000 ft , 30 load rig could be laying down the derrick when you pulled up in the morning and that sucker could be completely tore down, moved 60 miles and rigged up and drilling the mouse hole and rat hole before dark......in the dead of winter. Now it takes em a fuckin week....
Your oldschool Lee, I almost like to think of you like John Wayne in that movie Hell Fires or whatever it was called about the dudes that put out the well fires. I could see you in that role easily

They didnt know what to think of me, they heated with wood used to grab a half can of either when no one was lookin and toss it in the wood stove and then just go back to work HELL I even would go past em with a can of spray paint and paint a line on the floor in front of em when they asked why I told em I just wanted to see if they were movin

And I thought I was coming to this thread to figure out how to refinish my speakers...

That is the beauty of Phoenix. Never know where the thread has twisted :)

The first speaker is done, the weather is not right to do the second one, yet so we gotta talk about something. Might as well be something warm since the reason for holding off on the second Belle was cold.

Nice work on that first one. I always liked the finish on Klipsch speakers. It is like they use a couple more finer grades of sandpaper before they are done compared to the rough wood used on other speakers.

Now back to the fireball discussions.
