Oh My, I just talked to some of my Ford buds, and that '76 is rare-0-mundo!! with that half vinyl roof and that window...the T-Birds from those years had that window, the Torino's and most T-Birds had slat-like triple windows in the C pilars (invocking the slat trim pieces on the body of the '61 thru '63 Birds) ///, \\\

Shoot! That car just changed hands from one club member to another, less than a few months ago. The original owner from Squamish (two owners ago) sold one of his Gran Torinos (the one pictured) and kept his other.

That's a cryin' shame, it's not to my taste, but still a cool, rare ride!!

I don't know what your regs are up there, but I'd drop a 351 Cleveland in there with a 4bbl and duals and make the crowds squeal with delight!!! Bridge girder bumpers be Damned, that's a unique cruiser!!

If I'm not mistaken, it already has the 351 Cleveland, 4bbl carb and dual exhaust.

Nando, I seriously doubt it had a Cleveland, more likely a Windsor 351. Both great engines, the C just had a bit more oomph!! I'd love to hear from your friend about it, that window is just so rare and cool!

And what trannie was it? C-4? C-6? The rearend in Canada was probably a very low gear in first and higher in second, some had the rare OD with just a tap of the toe
