I can make it very easy to reassemble...In fact, all I need is the chassis and the pts and switches, keep the faceplate and meters. Shouldn't weigh much and just might be doable...hell maybe D2 can even finish itout!! What do ya say guys?

This would be way cool Lee. That's a great idea to strip off the heavy stuff - if it happens this will be fun to watch. D2 will be stoked.

I think the Aussies are asleep now tho...

What I could do is rig it all up here so all they had to do is solder 1 wire to the buss bar and 2 wires to the input terminal strip. Wouldn't weigh 15 lbs I bet..

Does that mean you'll use the SABB rather than the BABB?

I can do it……
it won't be cheap. these things hold their value working or not, down here.
The series II's go for pittance in comparison.
If you had a Series II worked out, I would have happily donated him one of mine.

BD, there's no doubt in my mind we can do a Ser II. If that B doesn't go cheap we can do the Ser II route..

it'll seriously go over US$300. (5 days left to go)
Post to the US won't be cheap.
That chassis I sent you was almost $100 just on it's own!

Anyway, chat when you get back from work.

I gotta go to bed. Got an early appt at my psych's today.

Whaddid the shrink say? Still crazy?

Jeez BD. Didn't know it cost that much to send that chassis. I think 20 lbs would be real close. If you've got a 700 Ser II you can strip like we're talkin, you get it here and I'll get it back....

I had to kill her…...

re: 700, give me a week to drag it out, and then i'll have some idea as to how long i'll need to strip it. shouldn't take long as i'm good at rippin' stuff to bits.
