This is a great article/white paper and really helps one understand why, when an arm/cartridge is set up optimally, with an "optimal" resonance around 10hz, it might still not sound as good as it could... Grab a coffee and enjoy!

Makes me want to actually measure resonance on my set up now, and then again after filing the damper trough... Those Micro guys were VERY clever, so I think there will be improvements there.

I was already pretty deep into the mechanics of arms and their design, so this just added to that library.

But, it is very interesting that they investigate not only what is happening, but also the way it is measured, and how two things measuring "the same" can actually behave quite differently sonically.

Also the relationship between subsonic frequencies and audible ones, near the end. That really shows something interesting...
