Kev - it's a Vu-Data Series PS900 portable oscilloscope and it seems you have a few probes to go with this. Did you check the fuse?

I did look at them Nav.. Like I told Lee last night one looks real small... Or blown.. and the other looks like a slow blow... And it does have a bunch of probes with it.. and power cord... I'll be glad to send it to ya if you want to fool with it !!!

Thanks for the offer Kev but I have a few 'scopes. The price is right for someone without an oscilloscope - maybe a simple fuse replacement. Here's a 1972 write up on this model - the photo shows a different variation of the same oscilloscope.

Can you test the CRT filament at least? Is the power switch okay, maybe internal via a rod? It's kinda old and fairly restricted in bandwidth but iot could be nice for simpler logic circuits and audio frequency analysis...

The probes alone are worth salivating heavily over (*but not ON)...

What do you mean by a smaller fuse and where is it?

Do you have a magnifying glass or loupe to read the values?
