I have a 200+ page manuscript done with "Word fer Mac," an iMac and 40 Kodak CD-R's. Problem is, I don't know how to burn text - can anybody here help?

It would be MUCH appreciated!

Open your burning software, select "Data" option (upper-leftmost icon in the window), and format of disc for intended computer (PCs don't wanna read Mac CDs).

Open the folder containing the files you want to write to the disc, drag 'em over.

Select what kind of disc you're burning to, then hit the red button.

(You may be asked along the way to name the disc, how many copies, etc.)

I have the opposite problem in that I couldn't get Windows to burn an actual CD and not a data disc...pain in the byte.

Thanks, guys! I figured out, with a little help from my local Mac guru, Tim, how to convert the text file to a pdf file, and then burn the pdf file to disc. It looks beautiful on my wife's PC! To paraphrase Richard Brautigan, I see paragraphs that look like Greek temples, and overall it looks like it was typed by Ernest Hemingway's typist...:toothy5:

Glad you got it figured out.

Steven there are a bunch of free software for burning cd/dvd on the internet that work alot better then the built in windows one. If you want one of them let me know and I can post a link?
