Got a flip coming up and going over to check out what the owners left. Besides the Onkyo surround receiver there is a set of what looks like B&W 2004 ZMF's and a set of DLK book shelf speakers. Do I let the junkers take them on tuesday or are they worth saving???

I see the DLK's were made here in the Twin Cities, not sure if I'll take those either. And, I don't have much use for a surround receiver

The DLK speakers look like they're worth having. They look small and probably sound OK.

I bought a pair of Epicure M50's a few years ago. Didn't need them but being small, I thought they might be handy to have some day. They don't take up much space in the meantime.

Believe me, if I found some Epicure speakers, I'd be keeping them. I have the set of 20+ sitting in my shop and I just can't bring myself to sell them. They are some of the best speakers I have ever heard. They may be getting a veneer job this winter since I'm down to "No Jobs Pending" for the first time in a dozen years. I have a Pro 700 to build and my Epicures and Heresy's I'd like to re-veneer but that's it. I have a lot of work to do on the house but the way the interest rates and funky market is going, I'm in no hurry to finish since I'm not going anywhere. Why would I sell my house when I have an interest rate of 2.86% ???

You andeverybody else that has a below 3% mortage.. haven't had a mortgage for 15 years...

Wish I could say that, Lee. My long-deceased photo business made sure I have a loan but I'll keep my 24 year in-house mortgage at the credit union which is just under 4% on this place. The Dallas kids have enough cash to pay it off and double the footprint without a mortgage if they do like they say and retire here after we're gone.

Back on topic, Perry; I've only heard a couple of pairs of B&Ws, neither were my cup of tea though the amps they were hooked to in the dealerships may have had something to do with that. Seemed kind of dark to me.
