I'd be curious to know as well. He designed the famous electrostatic KLH 9s, which do bring serious money when you find a pair. His 'stats were supposed to be great and as you say, fetch good money these days. That said, I think he sold out and whoever bought the name shifted to dynamic drivers which may or may not have been as good. Still - that pair doesn't look like any in the ads I remember as a kid; could have been a higher end model. From the overall condition, definitely worth the time, I'd venture to say.
