Any thoughts on the White Oak Sapling?

Krell offered something similar. Sold as a headphone amp but capable of driving small speakers quite well.

Headphones have quite a following these days. “Head-fi”
 
Even I own a headphone amp or two and I don't really listen to them that much.. Shit, there are a heap o folks that have multiple sets of headphones and headphone amplifiers! Not everyone has WAF. I suppose. I can jam my shit loud as I want, louder in fact, because I am down in the "Dungeon" and the neighbors don't give a shit because it can't get that loud over there. What I wish is that White Oak would build a DAC too that way I could buy one of those and get rid of this Schiit I been running. Lol.
 
DACs are hairy; more computer than stereo, but Geppetto has the skills to pay the bills in that regard (both actually) so if he was inclined, I'm confident he could do it well.
 
I would buy a Twigster in a heartbeat.. Call it " Sticks and Stems" far as I'm concerned. I just want a White Oak DAC instead of the Shiit I am running now. Can you imagine a Phase Linear DAC with two meters beating! I would love one

I got an MP3 player that holds thousands of songs. I don't DAC it......
