Something called Lewy body dementia to be specific. He says it's not fatal like Alzheimers' but he "just can't remember what it's called" and it leaves him pretty tired.
Here's a guy whose name and creations you grew up knowing and loving..
He turned a small Atlanta, Georgia UHF station into one of the first cable TV 'superstations' (now cable only TBS), created Cable News Network (CNN), Headline News, TNT, TCM/Turner Classic Movies and Cartoon Network among others, merged his empire into what became AOL/Time Warner.
He even bought WCW (World Championship Wresting) and helped to popularize pro wrestling in the late 20th century.
He was married to Jane Fonda for a few years. The man is a legend on several fronts.
All this from a billboard advertising business he took over when his father committed suicide in 1963.
