ALONE 2016

Yup, it's good to see another environment other than Vancouver Island.
Partial spoiler alert.......lost 1 on tonight's episode.
 
They better be some stout punji sticks at the bottom of his shallow pit...
 
Beth and I watched it tonight. I think someone will go off the deep end next week. They have lasted a long time I have to respect all those left.
 
Absolutely, this year's crowd has stayed longer in a larger number..
 
Day 48 and 7 left.......WAYYYYYYY more than last year....
 
Yeah, more wind and wet it looks like. Some days in Patagonia appear rather idyllic in comparison. This year it looks like they gave each one access to consistent fishing....but you can starve to death eating just fish....need some carbs too...
 
Just finished watching. I think your on point there Joe. Vancouver Island weather and food supply was worse than this I think. Still my hats off to the remaining partisipants
 
6 left, going strong. Callie must have worked out the infection....or she croaked.

Patagonia may be a bit more forgiving than Vancouver Island but I also feel this group had a different mindset going in. A few were conditioning themselves in the wild and well prepared for the solitude.

First time seeing the beginnings of food storage, drying fish. Couldn't do that on VI because of bear. If successful this could go on for awhile....

I think ink after season 2 and no one going very long that they realized the venue was just too tough.

Think they were were fooled after season one when that one guy figured it all out and was ready to go through the winter up there. That is a brutal place in the world.
