But the original question still remains. 3 seconds I'm sure meets most needs, but I assume there is a simple RC network that sets the timing.

This is an older thread but I just want to point out that Brown Dog adapter 070401 is for standard Quad OPAMP pinouts, not for the RC4136 as used in PL equipment. The "4136 Replacement" Brown Dog adapter is 060601.
