Been listening to this amp for a day and a half now. Some observations----veru good sounding amp, quiet, clean, and no turn off thump.

Also gotta plug Dennis(NavLinear) or FaboNav. Gona run his Bias tranny brackets, TO-5 standoffs.

you'd better be careful putting a bracketed biased tranny near Navo...just sayin':error:

with your sig gen in square wave mode inject a low level square wave to the input. With the amp loaded on the output with your 8 ohm load, you should also see a square wave, not as pretty as the input however. Carefully adjust it so that you get about a 2V P-P output signal

Using your scope measure the rising and falling edge time and voltage from the 10% point to the 90% point. For example if you measure a 1.6V rise in 0.8 microseconds then you will have a 1.6/0.8 = 2.0V per microsecond slew rate. These figures are just for example purposes. Clear?

Joe, how do I set up a rise time on the scope?

You must correlate the rise time with the event that caused you to trigger as you don't want to trigger prematurely! That would be bad. :shaking:

Yes Joe, pretty clear. I'll see what I can do here. In due time...NOT prematurely.......

BTW, Dennis, you've had better avatars. Might be time for a Devlin revue....

I have to regress once in a while - otherwise the expectations are too much.

She is straining some - you can see it in her expression. I wonder why.
