Hey all's!! What is with everyone these days? I've been searching concert videos of my favorite bands...and I see folks holding up their phones and waving them around!! What happened to holding up a BIC lighter? You can't light a joint with your freakin' phone.

Have we really tumbled this far down? Very sad...:sad10:

The next concert I go to, I'll be passing out BIC's and something more :iconbiggrin:
 
Not that I disagree with you bud ... but the phone 'torch', lighter replacement thing is easily going on ten years old.
Yeah ... it's really been a thing that long.

Yeah, but holding up a lighter at a Minnie Pearl show is lame.... might light some old farts back linament on fire... :director:
 
It'll sure run down the last 15% of battery after posting those "during concert " pics I post.....so it's best to carry some external batteries....
 
There was consideration of putting a lighter in the phone but back then the batteries weren't long lasting with that kind of current draw. Would have been handy for lighting up, but with the decrease in cigarette smoking across america, the manufacturers dropped the idea before batteries lasted all day. With the recent pot approvals across the land there may be a reconsideration of that feature. They just have to keep it for being butt-triggered, that would as bad as the Galaxy Note 7 debacle.
 
There was this new guy at work who did a lot of vaping, mod'ing whatever. Right in the middle of a meeting his "mod" goes into thermal runaway and almost burns a hole in his leg. Battery spewed all over the room... lol. Called him "sparky" after that.:toothy5:

I'd LOVE to do that, but poor Miss Minnie done said HOWDY! to the Lord some time done gone by.

Some time back a kid in the meat department at the store I used to work at was trying to light his farts in the break room and almost got his hind end flame broiled.
