A taste of fall already

Damn, I'm jealous. I miss boating, we could've done that in front of the house the other night, most of the city got 2 to 3 inches of rain it was a lake out there . 20 swiftwater rescues including two handicapped ladies and their dog got sweeped 100 yards down a flooded wash with water up to the car windows!!

Stuwee: Talk about weather extremes: searing heat, then storms and flooding. Not good news for residents in your area.

No kidding, in the upper 60's now, I went out with friends for supper and it was raining cats and dogs, by the time we left the main drag was a freakin' river again we really needed this rain we were the far western edge of the extreme Texas drought, only down 4 inches from our Y-T-D totals, we've made that up now in just a couple days I fell like I'm in Seattle again
