I have heard both the JBL L200 and L300 speakers. Probably, my favourite sounding speaker within that decade and price range.

I preferred the JBL L300s over the L200s, but try to find a pair of L300s for under $3K.

Speakers are a big investment. Who knows what might happen, Lee. Remarkably, I only demoed one pair of older Klipschorns for about 10 minutes in the upstairs at Innovative Audio. The eventual buyers of that particular pair were in the room listening to them while I was there, but never asked to push the volume. So, I didn't have the chance to hear their potential. And the classical music they selected didn't appeal to me.

After what these K's will do, I won't have a factory pair, they won't come close to what these can do...and they cost half as much...
