From my initial inspection it looked like a belt is missing. There is a large pulley at the center with one belt in the back groove and it looks like none in the front grropve. I can feel something in the supply hub so I know something is going on there, just not turning. I took a full set of pictures and will be sending them to myself ASAP.

The back panel is bent in where the dent was, this was there to start with when he sent it, I can tell. It's easy to fix and didn't have anything to contribute to the working state of the deck. Zach packed it in the manner I asked for and gets kudos for packing.

More later. I DO HAVE A NUMBER OF BELTS!
I don't remember a dent, but it's sure possible. I did say that it's not in the best shape...

I think it could be a decent piece with a bit of loving.

Hope you enjoy it!

I couldn't get to the place I could use the floppies and send them to myself today but I'll see if I can get this Dell going again on the A: drive.

I have no doubts that it will be anything but a swell deck!

I had a limited time to send myself email and I didn't really get a lot of really good shots but these will do.

Well, the good part of it would be that it dented in the least harmful spot. I still have the box, I can look it over for some evidence but I didn't see any other problems offhand. For now I can go over the shots I did get with my camera...I have two MPC ClientPro 365s with Linux Mint that will convert to 7 and one even has a multi-card reader...

I wonder if the folded up power cord could have done that?

No. It was at the bottom, right where you put it. To create a ding like that took a blunt impact to the top edge on that side. I can recall if the foam at that spot ws fractured, will look as I took a lot of pictures I can see things in but they just weren't all that good for posting detail, some too bright from flash and others blurry.

Huh...At least it's easily fixed, and not too visible in use.
