Now it begins - until it gets here, I'll be running to a front window anytime I hear a noise outside, in hope that I can catch the FedEx or UPS ape before he/she drops the thing on the concrete...

BTW, for those who don't like pink:

Laz, the apes don't stand a chance with it coming in a cabbage case!

If they travel on Lee's account, he uses only FEDEX.

What's so wrong about P!NK?

I'm not sick of the COLOR, unless it's accented with overdone BLACK...no fashion sense at all there.

It's like a Good N' Plenty box was, except that I hate that box.

And they look like big PILLS.

The amp is on it's way to Independence Mo. Tracking number is 7900 3708 7945. Laz will be cranking tunes Friday night. 8-)

Much thanks to Lee for allowing me to demo this amp. I was kinda hoping it would get forgotten about and spend a few more years at my place, but alas time for someone else to peg the meter needles.

That's exciting! Thanks, WP!! Did you really peg the meter needles? I plan to be really, really cautious with the gain knob - Vandersteen's aren't easy to repair.

Same purpose as candy cigarettes - get the kiddies started with lookalike candy, and they think the real thing is just as sweet. It's all psycho-illogical.

Only in the x20db meter mode. Nope I would never peg them in the one to one mode. So you would figure with my efficient speakers I was probably pushing 30 to 50 watts max out of her. I would say be careful with your speakers. If you are not using a pre-amp then by all means be careful with the gain knob. I was using a pre so I turned the amp gain limiters up to full and pretty mcuh never turned my pre-amp over the 10 to 11 oclock range.

That's just how I plan to do it. I plan to use my Luxman integrated as a pre, and also the Arcam, which has a passive preamp section - in use as a preamp, I don't even turn it on, except for LP duty. My only real preamp is an Aiwa, and it has gone tits up. I'm leaning toward NOT using the Cyrus.

I had them all the way when my woffers went. It was slapping them woofs then everthing went to hell lmao tweeters quit mids started cutting in and out and took out a 15" cv woof.. Lmfao and that amp wasn't even sweating lol
