700B WOPL Audition List

That's what it's all about. Intalling this White Oak stuff isn't that bad. It's the major rework in the wiring and whatnot that makes it a little daunting. But it's doable..
 
If you get your hands on another PL400 complete comp amp and want to make an audition thread for that; I'm game. Otherwise; I mat just send you an 8-finner and let you go to town on it for a new thread. :-)
 
I think Jason meant asking you or Jer to perform the magic on one. He's dumb as rocks like me when it comes to this stuff. Let the Pro's handle it and know it's done right. We were just talking on the phone and he is considering the possibility of selling the Jolida to help finance one if he likes what he hears (I am pretty sure he will be blown away)
 
Yep Ron has it right with dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to this stuff. If you needed a brick walk or a retaining wall built I'm you man lol. But yes if I like what I hear I will be needing one of you guys to make the magic happen for me if possible.

Lee, pencil me in for later this summer - we have to find a house, buy it, move our stuff, get settled in, set up the audio, and lastly, I need to re-tweeter the Fishers. No way am I hooking 700b's up to the Missions...

BTW, something like this would NEVER happen on AK.

What are you getting Paul? I just remembered that I had a set of Pioneer 12" woofs stashed in a box so I pulled the Watkins' and installed the Pioneers in the SM-120 cabs and they were thundering in the garage for half the night. Being a packrat has it's merits LMAO. I think I am just going to sell/trade the Watkin's. They should really be used in their correct application
 
Hey Ron I also have a pair of some mtx 12s as garage speakers. I Bought them at best buy in 99. They will belive it or not . Rock pretty hard . There 8 ohm 300 wpc 12's. So here in a bit if I can get to garage to look. I'll see what model they are.we got another damn storm last night haven't been out this morn to see how bad it is!

I had the foam on my Alon IV woofers redone. It's been an ordeal but they are supposed to be done by this weekend. Only takes a day to ship here so hoping to have my speakers back finally. Gonna be fun seeing how the WOPL 1000B differs from the OCM 500
