700 Series II face plate holes

Does anybody have a 700 Series II faceplate (original), that they can take measurements of the faceplate holes for the handles? I need to know the handle hole spacing. It should be around 102mm. The reason I'm asking is the Clair amps 700 series II's) have the same hole spacing as the 700B (100 mm) which is weird because the rest of the series II's were drilled at 102 mm...... Clair throws another curve ball at me.....

Ok, the 700 Series II Clair's, which have serial numbers in the 9000's, and up to the 12000's had their faceplates all drilled at 100 mm just like the 700B's, which is cool since I have 700B handles being cast. They will fit a series II Clair but not the regular series II. The craziness keeps getting crazier. Thanks man....

I'm not even gonna start with the 400's. I have requests for 5", 96 mm, and who knows what with the 400's....

So does it seem correct that a 700b style handle will fit the 700b, Clair and series I, 400 amps?

I know they fit series I 400s, never had a series II 400
