670zx needs meter repair

So, I can have this for under $200. It is working but the meters are stuck.

Remove the front, remove the 4 screws securing the beters, then pop open the clear meter housing. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to lift the front meter bracket (shiny silver). You will see when you've stretched the bracket enough to free the meter. I just had to do one. A little movement is all that is needed.

So just a stretch of the meter bracket frees them up?

Maybe I’ll tear it down after the holiday and post so pictures.
