This is a 1994 Fender Strat in Arctic or Olympic White. In 1994, the factory in Mexico burned down so these were assembled in the US. All Mexican finished Fenders from 1994 and part of 1995 were made from US bodies and necks, the guitars were only finished in Mexico (bodies painted and headstock printing (these are not waterslide decals). You can verify this anywhere online. The difference in quality is the hardware and electronics which are Asian made that made these more affordable over a traditional US Fender. The guitar has the best action I have ever seen on a Strat. Easily equal to my Gibson's. Rosewood board is beautiful, negligible fretwear if any. No buzzes anywhere, stays in tune even with trem use. This comes with a Fender softcase

1994-95 MIM Fender Squires are considered the best made which can also be verified online on the Fender Forum and other sites
These Squires eventually became Standard's in 1995 I believe

I would like $300 shipped/insured for this anywhere in the US which I believe is a very competitive price if you check completed listings. The body has one small ding and two scratches on the lower body section as seen in the images below
If you upgrade the electronics and hardware, you have a equal to a standard USA made Strat, These blow the Highway series Fenders away. Please don't confuse this with the uber cheap Affinity line. You will notice there is no Affinity logo on the headstock

To keep shipping cheaper and my price competitive, I will unbolt the neck (safer to ship this way anyway). I guarantee anyone who buys this guitar will be amazed at the playability

Any questions? Shoot me a PM

I also have a near new Marshall MG10 practice amp available for $50 + shipping

Someday I'll have to get a small amp. My Kustom needs a lot of work and I can't use it.

I had a Kustom stack when I was a kid. It was the puffy blue sparkle vinyl version. Had a blast with that playing KISS stuff!

Mine has two inputs, twin 12" Jensens, black pleating and needs the pots cleaned and a recap.

She was given the name Killer I by the guys that used her in local bands for years.

I had a friend with a Squire practice amp and I used to have a Peavey Rage 158 but I sold it when I got Killer, not realizing what the deal was. I got it for a song and sold it for the same, not realizing what a great amp it really was. The amp and guitar were just $50.

Mine looked like this one, it was a mid 70s model

My Kustom is laid out horizontally.

Is the MG10 like a Pigamp?

You mean a Pignose Lee? No, the MG10 is a 10w amp that screams like a bitch. The clean channel is really good but when you kick the gain up, you get the Marshall roar. It sounds way better when you line it out into another amp's clean channel though due to the size of the single speaker

Another amp I would like to get is a Marshall Class 5. That's a 5w tube amp that sounds great also

Dig this vid, a bunch of old farts having fun! 5 watts sound pretty damn good cranked!

That sounds like a dream to me!

Yeah, pignose, small practice amp..

Had a few Pignoses when I was a kid. I hated that batteries did not last long in it but around then, Tom Scholz released the Rockman which was pretty kickass but was a one trick pony, you sounded like Boston. Arion came out with the Hot Watt which IMOO was a better unit, more versatile, had a few effects and could be lined out into a PA. You could with the Rockman also. Both of those were headphone amps you could walk around with. I used to walk down the street with my Gibson Flying V back in the 80s jamming like a mofo LMAO

I would also swap this for a great issue free preamp... SAE 2100L, Phase Linear 4000 Series II, a Carver C1 or a Carver preamp that looks a lot like the PL 4000 series II (I don't remember the model number)

From what I've read Ron you don't want a 4000 series pre. If a phase linear you want a 3000 series of some sort 3300,3600,3800 one of those. The 4000's look cool but have read little good reviews on them..

I read somewhere that the Series II 4000 was a much better preamp and they did away with that funky 360 degree toggle. They look totally different also from the Series I. I just know I need a good friggin preamp FAST LOL!!!
