hi guys,
i have been offered a set of raw magnavox speakers, i havent seen them yet.
if these numbers are correct they are,

C 513 ie, that could be a 1 or an I i am told

id 3189 again first number either a 1 or an I, i am assuming the second one is a 1

p 232 903

all i think i know is
p232 is magnavox eia number
903 is date(i think either third week in 49 or 59)

so, my question is could these be pm's or field coil speakers?

knowing these numbers
i would like any input before i drive 60 miles one way to look.
and if they are field coil speakers can anything be done with them?
there is also some kind of amp with them, not sure what, mono maybe...
my uncertainties come from third hand info, i dont trust second hand if i am # 2...

some body talk me out of this, i do not need another project.

thanks guys,

I can...you'll want money for gas or grub getting home. And I can't figure out what to type into Google to make it mean something, which brings me to that old lesson I try to remember every time I lust for gear.

Don't marry someone from a dating profile.

And I've got $47 waiting while the rest of my stuff falls apart and I have two channels of TV and I went to a food bank...please come home already, Bill.

second what Joe said, good luck with that here Bill. BTW, had an ass-kickin pair of Mag's that had a 15" woof and a 12" horn in em. Wish I still had em. They were the subs for my 901's before anybody even knew what a sub was, way ahead of my time I was...
