    Yet another PL newb

    Hi All I was recently gifted a PL 700b... My friend that gave it to me has a fuzzy memory of it smoking on him years ago. I opened it up and inspected it, looking for the source of the supposed smoke.... Everything looks great....I removed the transistor covers on the back and all looks...
