Well, nothing beats the infamous "Puretech" engine from new Peugeot & Citroën cars, 3 cylinder, 1.2l and a timing belt running in the oil, the belt disintegrate, clogs the oil pump, and the engine breaks...

Nice video. At 9:07 you can clearly see the tape pack is out of round but it plays flawlessly, that's why the classic mechanism is cool. Even an humble 480 can make a tape with bad shell shine.

Thanks, that does take more space than tape decks. Restoration is long and needs multiple skills such as metalwork, painting, plumbing, electricity...
