Well , it was a long and hard road for me but I got it done. Took the General test last night. Missed passing by one , was offered a retake. YAA,I passed .

One more class then the Exam. Been getting 80's on my weekly quiz's. I still hate Math !

It doesn't help that its harder to buy music anymore. All of the local stores around here don't carry CD's anymore. I dont buy digital and record stores are few and far between. And FM radio is a waste of time anymore. All our rock stations here have the same 200 song playlist. :(

Not too bad so far. Been a long time since I've had to do Math though. Good excuse to buy a new calculator. And have been picking up a lot that is not in the book. Small class(only 8 ) and a teacher that takes the time on stuff we stumble on .

Most local clubs offer classes. It sure is helpful. Online practicing teaches you how to pass the test. In person actually explains a lot of the theory behind it. I would seek out a class if possible. My grand daughter that lives with us thought it was funny that I have homework And a project to...

Going back to classes again to further my amateur radio knowledge. Studying for my General license at my Ham Radio club. Ten weeks of making my brain hurt. I am ok with math but I hate that part of the process.

Was interested in amateur radio since the 70's. Finally got around to getting my Tech a few years ago. Mainly run 2 and 10 meters till I get my upgrade. Studying for it now.

Tv took a dump. Need a new TV in the 50-55" range. Leaning towards LG or Samsung . 4 K and a tuner built in. Last one was a monitor only, didn't realize the downside to not being able to pickup local stations. Is OLED that much better than regular LED for off center viewing ? Not a gamer so...
