Mark goes at it again... just bought a PL700/II!

For me, it's just too easy to touch one the wrong way, and the next thing you know the cover itself is shorting right to the collector of either end of the row. I prefer removing them.. too easy to physically push into one when moving amps around.

Sansui AU-517 - Out for repair

No rush, but thank you very much Glen! I have that old Adcom GFP-1A up and rolling, and it would appear that the recap I did is finally settling in. Sounds like heaven. After figuring out what went wrong, I think the 517 is going to get the same treatment.

Sansui AU-517 - Out for repair

Well, actually "in" for repair. So we had a bit of a "problem" with a WOPL where the AC "in" actually came in contact with the chassis. Note to self - remember that series II amps have no room at the top edge of the backplane, especially when one reassembles the top cover! Anywhoo… so that...

    400 Series II (standard) repair

None. For each channel you have two - one on each rail.

    400 Series II (standard) repair

Each channel should have a 10 ohm'er for each rail +/-.

Yeah gotta skip this one guys. Heard a few tracks and fell asleep. Maybe there might be a gem or two, but so far it's been a snoozer for me.
