I'm curious because of the ultra low mass of that tonearm. I almost bought one years ago to use on my Wrek o Kut but didn't...... The silicone damping system is worth using IMO, I have the KAB one on my Technics and and have an Audiocraft tonearm that has it too.

Yeah I'm going back to Linux on my main rig (a high spec T480) and will be getting a low spec T480 to use microshaft wangblows on. I've an R50 with XP that should run my film scanners just fine (win10/11 doesn't). My R60 would run XP fast cuz its dual core and sheeiiit......

Well the new BLDC motor pretty much drops in. The capstan is off the other non papst ROK motor I have and fits a 5/16ths-ish shaft. I had to ream it out a little to get it to 8mm for the new motor. The speed dials in and I can't hear flutter or anything weird like that. Motor noise is lower than...
