Well this is a new product they sell to customers. Custom build order. Paid around $2200 for it. Would seem kinda bad if they can't deliver it to you in a reasonable amount of time. That said the tubes were partially what held it up for me. But I think I did ask him to get it ready while waiting...
Well there have been some delays in getting my Solaris Pre. Tubes coming from Ukraine were late coming in and then 2 of the 6 were damaged. So I had to order 2 more. Those came this past week. I was supposed to have this pre well over a month ago. He hasn't worked on completing it for a while...
I can't accept couriers here at my address in Canada, so I will just get you to send it to my address across the border in the USA. I'll contact you in 4 days.
OK. I guess this will have to go to the US address. Let me know you guys what to expect on my end, so I'm not guessing on the sale. If there is any issue in completing the sale, let me know beforehand. Sorry to hear the news Ron. Hopefully the funds from this will help you.
I'm aiming for the 30th to pay for these. Due to not wanting to cross the border too many times this season, let me know a ship cost to send this to Canada.
PMing you the Canadian address. Also confirm with me the original posters PayPal email address.
I seriously considered getting some Magnepans from HiFi Centre in Vancouver. But never ended up doing that because I don't have room for speakers this big. Those speakers we heard at the tapedeck shootout sounded very good indeed. I wonder if a sub would have helped?
Got Laatsch's email. But I'm confused. I thought according to what I read in the first post, that I pay Northwind the full amount and he makes the $100 donation to the site. Am I missing something that I need Laatsch's PayPal email? I noticed a comment on the last page, but who am I paying what?
No need to have to send this to someone, as I can send it to a receiver just at the Sumas border. Its not far from Chilliwack. That said I still might get this sent to Canada, after the postal strike is over.
Yeah he lives in Kelowna. He stopped through town here on his way back home. He loves vintage Pioneer. Im not happy I lost almost 1/2 my funds selling the deck, but as mentioned I'm glad its gone.
