Well I had no idea there was an in-between phase for Bob Carver when he sold Phase Linear and started Carver Corp. Has anyone seen one of these? Those VU's look familiar for sure. It almost looks like what would happen if Marantz and Phase Linear had a kid. :laughing9...

In my original post I failed to mention the face-plates are black. I was un-aware there had been a run for the standard faceplates. So this is to clarify that mine are the black versions. As to date; I still have 2 of the black PL700B faceplates left.

I own an Oppo BDP-105, and it is a Stellar player. They came out with the BDP-105D (Darby Version) later that does something with enhancing the visual experience. But I think the 105D version also includes 4K upscaling. If you can't wait for true 4K; that's the one I'd pick.

Unfortunately I had to barter off two of my PL700B's to my father in exchange for help on my medical bills. He was kind enough to hold onto them for me until I could get back on my feet; which I am a ways away from. So I do not have gear to sell. But I have the faceplates still.

Okay just threw the 200 amp main and no fire. So the temporary 30 Amp breaker is holding. No blinking of the power feed to the amps now. I will not go above this as to exceed the tolerances of the current awg wire in the walls. I say temporary because I will be running new wire in the walls at...
