I can try to help him Mark, probably just needs a new belt for the lifting motor. If he has any mechanical abilities I can walk him through the repair, replacement belts are available on the Bay.

So I just got two more of Sarah’s reissued records and one is a 45 remaster (Solace). This is the second 45 I have gotten and I have to say, they are spectacular.

Fortunately the IC’s seem to be pretty bulletproof and I have not seen or heard of one failing yet. Glen got one with a bad board but root cause is unknown yet if I remember correctly. Replacing the caps is probably a good idea but so far I have not needed to. They are wonderful TT’s...

I thought you already invested in an ultrasonic cleaner ? If not, it is well worth the time and coin to get/build one.
