Sure Nando. My camcorder is an older model Sony CCD TRV37. Still works great after replacing the battery a couple years back. I set aside a few tapes prior to making the OP, for when the need arises.

I should note there are 3 types of 8mm camera's. Video 8, which was replaced with HI 8, and then replaced with Digital 8. All HI 8 equipment can be played and recorded in Video 8 format. As well Digital 8 tapes can be recorded on in HI 8 machines.
