@ BlazeES That photo was taken off ebay but on the strength of the opinions rendered I feel I should pass it up.If the seller couldn't clean it up right who knows what else is ahead.

Thanks guys I offered $100 and he came back with $200. I think I will pass. I bought a Denon Cassette Deck from him last week and it was perfect but I don't want to press my luck.

The small plactic piece in front of the cassette has a crack in it. The belts have been replaced but I need an opinion on the heads.This is what the seller sent.

@Nick Danger TDK D-90 is great tape I think you will get good results with that. I believe you can push that tape to +2 on the Vu Meters. BTW your equipment blows my mind.

Wow! It's GREAT to have another Jazz fan here. Most of the guys at TH are only into ROCK and POP and HIPHOP as well as Heavy Metal and IndustrialMusic (whatever that is) There is nothing better than Trane and Grant Green . I have all of the Grant Green CDs.

I am soooooo lazy as I can't micromanage the input on Type 1.

I understand your thoughts completely,it is easy to use Metal Tape or Chrome to copy an LP you like but to use a Type1 that is a challenge! You would have to set your input carefully.For some of us it is too much of a challenge,as we are somewhat lazy.I'm speaking for myself as well!

The young lady I spoke to is one of the owners. A really nice girl!

I phoned them and talked to a young lady that knew Nando. She looked on the rack and called me back. She had 3 of those Sony GIG-! Caseettes left! I ordered them. She laughed when I told her that Nando left a few for the next guy!
