Finally closed this can of worms today. Installed LF351N and it didn't change anything. Switched to OP134 and that solved the problem. Pops gone. Thanks for your help guys.
Back then, the sticker on the fan seems like it would be expensive to make for an afermarket, smalll quantity run.

I''m impressed with the value of added sub harmonic. Have you tried a Phase Coupled Activator? I use it on the lowest setting all the time now and like it's effect a lot.
So your trying to boot from CD drive? In Asus bios they often have one place where you enable the CD drive as bootable and another lower drop down where you set the drive boot sequence. Maybe that is what your looking for.

Did you catch the part about the blown output transistors?
This is the third color I've done them in, one yellow, one red and now the blue. The needles are so thin, you can't see them unless your close anyway. As for which color looks best, I think it depends on the colors of the other equipmet with them.
