Some of us take great pride in our work. In 50 years, it will NOT look like an original PL amp much less junk. It will be free of flux, chainsaw stripped wires, and burned boards.

The old junk can be dangerous to home and kats............ I'm not throwing the "Only I can afford the top shelf shit" in their face. I like the nostalgic LOOK of the PL, just not the nostalgic fire.

Imaginge your friends surprise when a short time after getting them back from you, they take out his prized speakers or even better, start his kitty kat on fire.

We have had many members fix these with varying degrees of success. Some are still alive, some lasted for a couple hours. You never know.

Consider yourself lucky and give them back to the customer while they still do. Being full of 50 year old junk means they won't be for much longer.
