My girlfriend says I have enough... I tried to explain that I don't have ANY stock 400's! I need at least two WOPL400'S minimum. Then I'll keep two WOPL700'S and sell everything else.

Wow, I'm tempted to scoop that up! $250 delivered is a good deal!

Ouch. My three pallets of 700's were like $650. XPO Logistics or something like that.

I shipped 14 Phase Linear 700's from California... It can't be more than that. I'm thinking $350-400 gets it done. It's going to have to wait though. I'm about done with this basement and I just ordered a 55" QLED and media console. Going to be moving Valerie and her friends down there over the...

I want a set! Those are my next speaker purchase. I'm probably going to purchase from Bob assembled... My woodworking is worse than my soldering :-/

I must be the a$$hole that doesn't mind hijacking... We'll get back to our regularly scheduled programming soon enough. Nothing wrong with a short interruption.

Current bike is a CVO Breakout. I bought it from a disabled vet. He left it sitting outside on the east coast near the ocean. I got it as a rusted POS and polished up the turd into something more respectable.

My first Harley was a V-rod. Loved that bike but I couldn't ride it like a normal person. It red lined at 9k and wasn't really fun to ride until you were up over 5k, so I was screaming through five gears everywhere I went. Couldn't (or wouldn't) keep it in double digit speeds. Had to get rid of it.

Where are you located? We have like a six month riding season here, but I stretch it to nine. I totaled my Rocker on January 6 two years ago. It was like 25 degrees. I shouldn't have been out.

I'm wondering how many Harley guys we got in here... Seems like quite a few! I have never built my own bike, but I'm the only one who has ever put a wrench on all the bikes I have owned.

Not to rub it in Gene, but I just sat down in my recliner, threw on Sticky Fingers on vinyl and cracked a beer after a long day. The separation and soundstage are absolutely incredible. Not sure whether that is due to the dual mono or full complimentary setup, but it's by far the best sounding...

All in, my Valerie cost me $870 and probably 60 hours of my time. WOPL 400 (Valerie) $225.00 Light board $ 62.00 Capacitors $ 63.00 Backplane $130.00 BP Wire Kit $ 16.00 Control Board $160.00 Transistors $104.00...

It sucks Gene, but maybe it's time to take Sniff's advice and just shotgun it. Bite the bullet and go the full comp WOPL route with new back plane, new control board, and new output transistors. You could stop troubleshooting and start building. Don't quote me on this, but I think you would...

If we're doing bio's... I'm 42 and have lived on the same street in the western suburbs of Chicago for the past 30 years. I bought my childhood home ten years ago when my mother wanted to downsize to a townhouse. I have 50/50 custody of my two kids - a 12 year old son and a 15 year old...

Everything is good on my end. Valerie sounds great. I had a few friends over last Saturday afternoon for a few beers before going to a Kaleo show at the Aragon in Chicago and put her through a high spl demo session for an hour or so. No clipping whatsoever and not much heat coming off of the...

That's basically what I wanted to do in my 20's! I bought two houses, fixed up and rented one and lived in another. I had one bad renter and everything kinda fell apart. Fix and flip is apparently a better option than hold and rent.

Yep, I'm rocking the RL-11 exclusively. I ran the C1 for a day or two and then switched to the Acurus and never looked back. I do prefer the C1 phono pre to the Schitt Mani, but I'm working on modding that Rotel that Perry recommended to resolve that small issue.
