You would be blowing fuses if that was the case. Look for wire connections that look like they are made but are not really. Are the Phoenix connectors tightened (not over tightened) or just loose? Do you have a solder joint on the control board that looks like it is there but isn't?

The snubber board was designed with that in mind. The snubber was designed for the Model ONE that uses Faston connectors on all the wires attached to the bridge.

These have been requested by some members in the past so I designed these covers and had them fabricated. They are now in stock and will be added to the White Oak Audio eStore page in short order. If there is any demand, I can have the PL400 transistor covers fabricated as well. It is a shame...

I did not touch on this Matt, to do that you need a control board of some form to disconnect the AC in cases like that. The Model ONE has a full blown power control board in it to handle this task and others. I have thought about that however for the existing PL amps, just not published...
