No Joe I did not replace any of those... I never saw a problem till I took the DBT out which then gave full 120V voltage... I did check the resistors in circuit, all 3 on the left side come in at 132ohm, on the right side Q5 is 132 and Q3 and Q4 come in at 133ohm

Hey Joe I know it's getting late so will not be able to do much just got home a short while ago spent most the day at t the hospital with my wife... Anyway yea I was going over the schematic last night thinking the problem has to be in voltage regulation I see where you had me lift D9 and 10...

Perry you run around here flapping your gums at people, paying customers you put us down if we don't have the money to do something your way you trash us for questioning things we don't understand and you seem to like to put your nose in things that don't concern you. "Yer expecting to be...

Here is full set of numbers 120V D9 and 10 lifted Bias trim turned all the way down on control board DCP contacts appear to have stayed closed Ground (TP3) to Output +1.079V Ground (TP3) to Bias + +.2489 Ground (TP3) to Bias - +.7230V Ground (TP3) to B+ +82.66V Ground (TP3) to B- -82.54V...

Wow Joe I disconnected the wire from the DCP and bias went way up so I checked it again on the control board and it was way up I turned the trim pot all the way down and voltage is still way high at +1.389 Left channel is still good.... I do still have D9 and 10 on right channel lifted up I...

Agree very important we get on the same page here... yes positive on the polarity of the offset and output I will put these in in future posts where I give output voltage that is from the ground on the backplane to the output test pin on the backplane I am getting offset from the speaker...

OK so here we go.... D9 and 10 lifted on right channel First at 115V DCP contacts are closed Ground (TP3) to Output .0001V Ground (TP3) to Bias + .3432V Ground (TP3) to Bias - .3422V Ground (TP3) to B+78.60V Ground (TP3) to B- 78.53V Control board bias .3512V Off set 0V This is with ground...

Disregard previous post that was off the back planes.... on the control board I get B+ 15.233 B- 15.329 @115V it does not change significantly when I go up to 120V even though when I do go to 120V the DCP contacts open

    Toasted 400 still toast

    Well this is where they are... At 115V Left B+ 77.72 B- 77.75 Right B+ 77.84 B- 77.64 DCP contacts are closed At 120V Left B+ 82.33 B- 82.34 Right B+ 82.29 B- 82.09 DCP contacts open

Just sitting here thinking about this.... maybe one of the power regulators on the control board flaky??
  19. roccus

    Toasted 400 still toast

Yep I agree bias seems ok but my concern is the cause for the DCP contacts opening up and the voltage going up on the offset on the right channel when I apply 120V. That is what we need to find out here.... the offset voltage did not go up on the right channel when 120V was applied before the...
