I had a 2nd WOPL built by the famous (kind of) Eric- Hexis22 that I was going to use to biamp my VMPS's and unfortunately that can't really be done effectively so it's up for sale. I am very excited to recieve my 2nd WOPL from Eric. I am going to bi-amp my VMPS SuperTower III's with them...

I did read an article about sanding the led, but am curious if slipping one of these rubber socks on will achieve similar results without the possibility of damaging the led...

Has anybody tried these to possibly get rid of or at least lessen the "hot spots" on the meter lamps by diffusing the light more effectively(see pic)? I just ordered some to give a shot.I read somewhere that someone sanded the lamps and thought these may achieve the same results.

You will need to wait for the experts to chime in for the answer to that question-of course if you are able to do things yourself it will be a bit cheaper.

If they are cosmetically excellent and electrically fine I would say yes. I would also say they WILL need some money thrown at them to make them reliable so factor that in...Rich

Eric got the new amp in today. Missing outputs, drivers and fuses. The guy had a good rating on Ebay and said he would pack well-one layer of bubble wrap,but he did put it in 2 boxes! Damaged cover on tranny but Eric does it works fine and meters are good-thank goodness that's all I need from...

Picked up another 700b and am having it shipped to Eric for the full boogie. The amp has a "dual primary transformer" ,any advantages other than 220v capable?

I am going to use the White Oak 700b black faceplate, I am trying to match it to my existing WOPL ..

Actually, this amp doesn't have any switches. I am going to install a 700b faceplate on a 400,so I need everything including the center lighted panel,handles and knobs/switches. The only one that will be functional is the power switch... Rich
