Did you mean D130? Too fragile. But having said that, they'd suit a tad less volume for a similar sound as to a JBL2225 going full stick. Just lower dB's.

Any of the older JBL's would do the trick. Even the K140.

Shame you don't live next door.... I'd lend you a pair of JBL's to throw in there just to compare the difference. I'm sure you'd be pleasantly surprised regardless of the 'blasphemy', but, it's all part of growing up! ;)

My HT is run with an Onkyo Integra DTR 7.4. Only thing 'wrong' with it is that it's pre-HDMI. Still a great and very versatile amp. So many ins and outs and has enough 'kick' for the job.
