They look nice Perry, worth the effort.I know Mr. Janszen was a Harvard EE and worked at KLH for a while. I haven't found this model yet but the Vintage ones are going for good money. Needs the 10" woofs re-coned but otherwise in pretty nice shape.

Interesting that his son carried on the work of his father. Somewhat rare in vintage audio...I talked to David Janszen and it Looks like they were a prototype when licensee (Electronics Industries) here in Minnesota designed them to gauge the market since all the speakers with the Janszen name on them were electrostatic or hybrid electrostatic and these guys decided to try a regular type speaker. This one has hand written model number and serial numbers. ZDT-1 with a serial number of 1225. He said they looked well designed and legit so maybe a restore/veneer job might be in order. David Janszen is the son of Arthur who started the company after he left Harvard as a professor in the 50's and he makes new E-stat speakers now.
