Made me do some research and found this rendition..

That is no doubt the same edition but it has my missing insert. Thanks for adding the visual. Did you find out anything about the date it was issued? It appears to be a compilation of a number of different performances and recording sessions but all with the NBC Symphony Orchestra.

Thanks, Tony; there's no date on the discs or cover. Given corporate behavior regarding copyright and such, I'm always surprised when I find albums that don't have dates on them.
I'd venture a guess that in the 50's and earlier, copyright laws and markings were still being dialed in/evolving for vinyl. One would think that RCA - of all companies - would lead in that regard, but it appears not..

555XX----- "Two Road Dem"

Don't know about this...Reggae Rap?
Definitely Interesting Lee.
Had not had my finger on the pulse of this kind of creativity.
This one they are calling Jamaican Grimecore, (Two Road Dem).
The Gothic Mazz compilations are nice.
Thanks for posting these......Very Interesting.

I set the Model One to 1958 – 1962 and played these two classics.
Both are great performances. This is a classic recording by Lester Young of Duke Ellingtons’
very popular tune “It Don’t Mean A Thing, If It Ain’t Got That Swing”.
Gene Ammons and Sonny Stitt together, speaks for itself, another incredible LP.
Highly recommend these two:

Lester Young and His Orchestra
It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing)
Verve Records – MGV 8187 – Mono -- Clef Series
Reissue 1958 w / Black Label -- Original Released in 1955

Gene Ammons and Sonny Stitt
Boss Tenors in Orbit
Verve Records – V6 – 8468
First Pressing – Mono – 1962
Rudy Van Gelder Engineered

That Twelve Dreams... Spirit album I found got me to wondering and guess what? Amazon to the rescue. Needed something to round out an order of two-outlet Tripp-Lite surge protectors for the appliances. Bought this five CD compilation - the first four "real" albums before Randy California and Jay Ferguson went their separate ways and another where Ed Cassidy and Mark Andes tried to soldier on. Working on the first one - Spirit - right now. Definitely in the psychedelic camp.

That Clear Spirit album cover is a straight-up ripoff of the first Doors album cover photo.
