I have several tecird club pressings and never had playback issues with them. The packaging is usually cheaper. I seriously doubt any band would risk sales over worn out dies. At this time lots of recycled vinyl was used to make new records. Dynaflex comes to mind in that case. RC issues...
I asked Perry, he said he's not taking orders as he has a bunch if house stuff to do. Not sure who are the ace builders now. My friend has an opportunity to snag a nice still working one and a Sherwood 5500 in trade for a MA5200. Not sure if thats a good deal?

Yeah, once I heard my old Mark Levinson 333.5 that put an end to all tube audio gear except for my guitar amps. The ML went because it ran so hit it scared me. I found a blown up PL400 for a $1 found this board and with a lot of kind folks help here, I am WOPL user till the day I pass on
My buddy has worked at the Binghamton location since the 80s. He told me stories about horseplay and fighting. That vid paints a pretty pic until the realities of any workplace crop up. Mac gear is overpriced regardless which is why I used his employee discount for my gear in the 80s and 90s...
Only idler I have still is a Garrard model A. Its just a shelf piece, I would never play any of my records on it though it still runs ok. I had an 80 with the wooden tonearm to that did not really impress me
