    Phase Linear 400 mkII refreshing

From the AI-sphere: The RCA 410 transistor, developed in the early 1950s, was part of RCA's significant contributions to transistor technology. The DoD assigned NSN 5961-01-0006-8005 to this transistor in 1975. Phase Linear probably bought a majority of these transistors during production of...

    Phase Linear 400 mkII refreshing

I would be curious about the Gain (hFe) readings on these newer RCA transistors. Real RCA 410 (and the exact same RCA transistor with a different P/N 66546) measure anywhere from 14 to 44 on my Sencore TF-151A. Your readings will be different but the range should be similar. Newer transistors...

    Phase Linear 1000 AUTOCORRELATOR

If you mean the SAE 5000A, yes I have one for sale because I no longer have a turntable nor a tape machine of any type. It has been upgraded with new Electrolytic Capacitors and performed well when I had my turntable, it includes the Manual in soft copy. I will send you a PM. PM sent. Now I...

    A Shot in The Dark

That is very kind, but I am hesitant to start a "GoFundMe" for this guy. This Forum is so great that I feel others might be compelled to help out and I am not that good at running a cash ledger. Hell, I might get more than he needs. Thanks for the offer, you guys are amazing!

Yes, Joe is sourcing them. They will likely be similar to or the same as the WOA Model ONE VU Meters because the new meters require a new Meter Bracket, Meter PCBs, and Faceplate to fit the PL400.

    A Shot in The Dark

Thank you for the offer (a good one). But I have bitten off a bigger piece and told Joe that I will be his Guinea Pig for the initial test of the WOA PL400 Meter/Faceplate Upgrade. He is working on the fabrication part right now and I may see the parts arrive before the end of the year. This is...

Phase 400-II Quasi comp to comp conversion

You will also need the two PNP columns of ONSEMI MJ21195G Output Transistors for the Fully Complementary operation to be... complementary. Personally, I would change out the existing NPN Output Transistors as well, use ONSEMI MJ21196G. If your amplifier still has the Silicone grease/mica...
