Avoid electrolytic caps when a Polypropylene or other high quality film cap can be found to fit with the same specs. The PL2000S2 BOM is good, but I sourced my PL2000 parts from Mouser.

The DBT identifies high current loads (shorts) in the Primary Power and to a lesser extent, downstream. Crossing output wires shows the amplifier an impedance of 0 Ohms and the amplifier will generate all the available Power across that short circuit - damage ensues. Many times the damage cannot...

It is a moving target to try and keep up with all the wire revisions. When you get to "Z" will the next revision be "AA"?

    Model ONE Build - S/N 0005 & 0006

Eric, I received my S/N stickers. I assume you have too. Should we agree on a location for the stickers, just to be consistent? Maybe Joe has some input. He likely already attached his stickers to S/N 1 and S/N 2.

The White Oak Audio Model 1 Cabbage Case Thread

The Wire List was at Rev R last time I checked. There have been two early revisions. One was to the Power Control Board to allow larger AC power input wire gauge and the other was to the Meter Control Boards for better power regulation for the lighting circuit. These revisions did not affect the...

    Model ONE Build - S/N 0005 & 0006

I had to do everything twice on my first Model ONE build... I am not sure but I think the Backplane Boards may not fit over the Thermostatic Switches due to the Spade Connectors. A trivial thing. After I had mounted my Main Capacitor Clamps, Joe reminded me to have the screw heads facing...

Place the Transformer and Transformer Cover before you install the two Input Control Boards. There is a bit of an overlap.
