Listening to France Inter and France Culture while driving my van at work. At home I use a Sansui 661 receiver. FM is going down here in France, stations are forcing us to go digital and repeats everyday to use the their useless phone apps... And AM got shut down a few years ago, like analog tv.

That was almost ten years ago, Augustine found a good place to listen to the XO-1's, I miss her.

Started in household appliances repair being my own boss, didn't earned a lot since cheap Chinese made crap just appeared here in France back then, also the huge amount of administrative work didn't helped too (a French specialty). Done a few vintage hifi restoration too (mostly cassette deck)...

By the way 90W from the 80's is now 900W due to inflation. I always laughs when I see these cheap Chinese made battery powered bt devices showing "1000W power" but consuming less than 10W !

Tried once on an Akai GX-4000, that worked right, there might be higher end BASF tapes of the same era.
