Very nice, Miles - those colours and images bounce right out at you! I recorded on a Maxell XLII 90 a week ago. I haven't recorded on a Maxell XLII for a long time, perhaps close to three years ago. I had forgotten how well this tapes sounds.

Radio Shack SHD-90

And here's the rebranded Maxell XLII as a Radio Shack SHD-90. This tape is courtesy of Chris (clhboa) from whom I received this mix tape - a great set of blues & rock tracks.

I would be happy if all my stock of Type IIs were BASF CR-M IIs. Nice pictures, Miles!

Tasuke, your assemblage of pre-1981TDKs is envious.

I have an unused KR with a wrapper that fell off a couple years ago.

I have not used Metal tapes since the 80s, I prefer the Cr02 SA-X tapes but since I have not had any in 20 years, I have not been recording at all LOL
Man, that's almost like saying you haven't gotten any in 20 years...
